Dr. Marilyn Deumaga is an occupational health physician from Cameroon, currently practicing at the Centre Hospitalier Eure-Seine and completing a specialized internship at the CHU de Rouen – Service de Santé au Travail, where she works within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, nurses, and social workers focused on workplace pathologies and psychosocial health.
Passionate about mental health and human well-being, Marilyn earned a university diploma from Université Paris Panthéon-Assas in “From Psychosocial Risks to Quality of Life at Work.” Her experiences have deepened her understanding of how professional and personal pressures intertwine, and how empathy, prevention, and care can transform both individuals and organizations.
At Nuvia, Dr. Deumaga leads the Training & Capacity Building department, overseeing the design and continuous refinement of Nuvia’s healing-centered curriculum. With her medical expertise and dedication to holistic care, she ensures that staff, volunteers, and partners are equipped to deliver programs rooted in compassion, evidence, and impact.
